From all the girlfriend revenge stories I have seen in anime, defeating bandits through not only arithmetic but arithmetic quizes has been the most ridiculous so far. Alas, can't argue with the results. Hah, can't argue with the results. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Anything to make people educated.
FFXIV Construct 7... Math Time! LoL. The funny thing about playing an MMORPG actually is that it's all about the math tbh. On the contrary many games with damage numbers it's about addition and multipliers.
And then some still cheat lol
Mikako is so cute😍
MIKAKO ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!!
Math + Boxing pretty interesting
Could have been more interesting if the boxers were doing the math.
That'd be an easy win for Nick
I was thinking the same thing.
It reminds me of that one game, except that's Boxing + Chess and the chess players are also the boxers.
Lol chess boxing is very fun to watch, seeing the decision making get worse with each round is hilarious
That's a deadly combo. Boxing alone was dangerous but adding Math the king of headaches to it is just overkill.
Double the brain damage 😤
This anime season is quite the thing... It's food, CGI, an now apparently maths haha xD but I love it, seems like we're seeing the effects of the cough pandemic technically ending
Sounds like a yt thing xD
Rofl, suddenly things got so serious!
Idk about getting arrested for it, but I knew 6 exchange students who got deported for it lol coincidentally they were japanese (they had cheat sheets in their passports for the sats)
They really tried to get us to sympathize with Claudine by showing her backstory, her presence hasn't been big enough for me to be interested in it in the first place.
It sucks that Nick never got to punch Leon in the end, I thought he would get one in the end.
anime: shows Claudine's sad backstory
all of us: Oh no! Anyway...
Idk man, I'm a sucker for redemption stories, specially the ones where it's a girl that betrays the main chara and then she has no choice but to fall for that kakoii asshole for good.
*Claudine's backstory*
"Yeah, still begone thot"
"my parent tried to sell me"
oh boo hoo bitch...and then you ran off and robbed any men that became your boyfriend...seriously find it hard to sympathize with her
It doesn't really make sense when you think about it. All she needed was to do the sugar-daddy thing for a while.
Yeah, I didn't like this episode. Wasted time showing backstory of a character we don't care about, and then Nick didn't get to hit the mf back.
And Curran getting picked to do the math was BS in the first place.
I hope this episode is just a one off, really was unsatisfying and kinda boring.
Will you believe that until the end of the episode I didnt even remembr that she's the chick that dumped Nick?
Honestly totally forgot about her, borring girl :-/
I don't get why he didn't land a punch too, they show him kicking that beastman's ass last episode...
And yeah, showing this group of baddies in depth seems like an utter waste of time. The math battle seemed pretty stupid to me too
I don't think it was meant to get us to sympathize with Claudine and more so emphasize the differences on how she and Survivors respond when they are wronged.
I am also sad that Nick didn't get a Single Hit.
Arithmetic bare knuckle.
Use brain and muscle at the same time
Garou Sweep!
Curran is better at me at math, and I'm a college student lol.
Yup, these days we don't need to know math anymore. Just type it into the phone! Or ask Siri/Google/Alexa to solve the problem! lol
Me, an Electrical Engineering student: hahaha... if only it were that easy...
But if you can do square roots,Your better tbh
It's fine. Don't worry about it :3
Bruh...
NGL when they started giving us Claudine's backstory, I didn't even know who they were talking about. When I did realize I was like, "Why are they doing this? Why do they think we care?"
I thought it was tiana until it showed the lips
Same here.😂
Aris has memorized a billion lips.
I love lips
Curran is the cutest character so far
I really liked the idea behind Arithmetic Bare Knuckle. I like how it wants to put emphasis also on education and not only on pure strength, because adventurers might be prone to omitting education.
For example, like Bond said, that Curran might now be able to "figure out which restaurant has the best value meal". I hope that Curran will put the new gained knowledge to some good use.
Though I must say that even if the boxing scene wasn't that good, and even the cheating thing wasn't the best thing eve, it was a pretty fun episode and I enjoyed it, because I liked the idea behind the whole spectacle.
It would have been satisfying if Nick had gotten a good punch in.
The previous episode Nick completely dominated that jackass in the alley, this episode he couldn't even hit the guy once. :|
MAN even just ONE PUNCH!!!!
imagine getting arrested because you can't do basic math
"You know how hot-blooded adventurers are. They'll never study if you don't do this."
The logic behind this dueling method is surprisingly sound...
